About Mitgo

Why deal with a sales rep when you could deal with the carrier's CEO?

Founded in 2006, Mitgo Inc. is a full-service transportation consulting firm built on one competitive advantage: network connections that put you in the room with the executives at many of North America's leading carriers.

Who we are

Integrity, trust, and innovation — with a carrier's phone number to back it up.

We connect shippers directly with carriers, manage your relationships with transportation providers, conduct in-depth supply chain analysis and design, and work within your organization to attract, retain, and motivate top-flight sales and marketing teams.

When you need time-sensitive answers about your freight, why wait on a sales rep? Mitgo connects you with the carrier's CEO, Owner, or President — and lets you get back to your business.

  • Increasing the value of your supply chain budget through cost savings and route optimization
  • Spotting where carriers have cut costs but aren't passing the savings on to you
  • Optimizing carrier mode and mix so all your freight moves to suit your service, quality and cost requirements
  • Designing the organizational structure that supports a high-performance supply chain

James has spent over 16 years in transportation and logistics across Rail, Road, Air, and Ocean. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Western, a BA and BEd from the University of Maine, and an MBA from Athabasca University. He has also served as a Director on the Toronto Transportation Club's Board.

After his military career he became a Transport Canada training and check captain on transport-category aircraft and held leadership positions at a commercial airline.
